I finished my sketchbook at the end of week 21 and it took me a few days to get started in a new one. Actually, I'm not starting in a new book - I decided to finish up an old sketchbook since I have more than a few laying around. This one in particular I started back in 2011. The reason it isn't filled is because it's a larger size than I normally use (it's 9X12"). I'm hoping the different size will spark some new ideas in my daily practice.
For my first page, I used the other page of the spread as inspiration. I'm not sure when exactly, but I smooshed some leftover paint on one page and used those colours as a jumping off point for my collage. I have to work a little harder at getting back into a daily practice, but so far I'm pleased with what I've been producing here.
5/30 Fill your imagination
5/31 Imperial mystique
6/1 Girly swirl
6/3 Koi pond
