This year, my word came very easily. I made a list rather quickly:
"Delight" appealed to me for fairly obvious reasons - I have a lot to delight in this coming year.
But "savour" resonated even more. I'm already delighted - that's going to be an easy response for me throughout the year. But savour. I really, really want to slow down and enjoy the year. I want to savour it and appreciate it to the fullest. I want this word to be my gentle reminder that the year is going to fly by and I need to savour every moment (no matter how challenging!).
nurtureTwo words immediately jumped out at me, so I "tried them out" in my sketchbook:
nourish
nest
delight
indulge
savour
relish
revel
rejoice
pamper

savour + delight

What words or intentions are you setting yourself for this year?
