17 GOALS FOR 2017:
- Read 30 books.
- Finish 2 cross-stitch patterns.
- Finish Amber art book and start a new one.
- Take monthly baby and family photos.
- Journal or sketchbook daily.
- Set a schedule for blogging (weekly), crafting (daily) and getting out of the house (3-4x weekly).
- Make and freeze meals for post-partum.
- Gather 10 good crockpot recipes.
- Set a routine for exercising (3-4x weekly).
- Catalogue library.
- Host Thanksgiving.
- Organize, declutter, minimize, purge.
- Figure out cloth-diapering, nursing/pumping and making baby food.
- Stay in touch with friends while on maternity leave.
- Tackle a new "kitchen challenge" monthly (challenging recipe / technique).
- Be intentional deepening relationship with Pat. Set weekly date nights.
- Plan a family trip (overnight, not counting grandparents' house).
This year, I tried to make specific, concrete, measurable goals. I think most of them are, with only a couple exceptions (#12 and #14). This will make it a lot easier to keep track of my progress. Blogging monthly kept me somewhat accountable last year, but this year I wanted more. So I made myself a "Goals Journal" where I can keep a log of all my goals (and plan some of the bigger ones). Here's a look at what I'm talking about:
