We are really coming down to the home stretch! As of today, we are officially one month away from our due date! We are both so excited! Basically, this is all I can think about. Christmas seems like such an afterthought in comparison... like I'm just going through the motions to get to the other side. I can't wait to meet this little man!
I caught a glimpse of my profile in the mirror tonight and thought I looked like maybe I've dropped? So here's a lineup of photos from week 34+3, 35+3 and 35+4 (today):
It's hard to tell with all the varying angles... here's another view of week 34+3 vs 35+4:
Hmmm... looks pretty similar actually. Maybe a very slight drop - what do you think? I must have just surprised myself in the mirror earlier - happens more often than you might think lately!
Anyway, a few more from yesterday for good measure:
Baby has been very active this week - he likes telling me how to sit (no hunching over!) by squeezing his feet (or pushing his bum up) under my right ribs. He favours the right side, as I've noticed with my sometimes lopsided belly. He still gets hiccups almost daily, but I can feel them quite a bit lower than before. Probably because he's head down and engaged, as per my appointment last Thursday. This means more pressure in my pelvis now, as well as a bit more of that pregnancy waddle.
Otherwise, I still can't complain. Besides some aches and pains and waking up frequently at night, there's really nothing to complain about. I'm going to miss being pregnant.... but I am so ready to deliver and meet this little bundle of joy!
