Adoption

I have a soft spot for orphans. I follow a lot of adoption blogs (I particularly love Ni Hao Y'All & Yes, My Couch is Ugly) & really admire the families who have opened their hearts to these special children. I have no doubt that one day adoption will change my life for the better too.

But this post isn't about me.

Recently, a new shop, LindsayLouCreations, joined the MMG thread, where I've met many amazing, crafty women. Lindsay, who has some really cute crocheted items, and her lovely family are actually in the middle of the adoption process. In fact, all proceeds from her Etsy shop go directly to help bring her daughter home from the Democratic Republic of Congo. You really must head on over to her blog & read about their path to their daughter - it's incredibly heartwarming.
