Friday Feature: Wash Clothes

Grab your cleaners - it's time to scrub! There are so many different wash clothes & scrubbies available on Etsy, you're sure to find the perfect one! Here are a few of my favourites:

These eco-scrubbies by EarthToGert look like they'd be really effective against grime in the kitchen & soap scum in the bathroom.

I have two of these wash clothes by bibelots. I like their larger size & texture, they clean really well.

Speaking of texture, these wash clothes by yarncoture are amazing. I use the spa ones for showering (they're so soft), but these thicker ones would be great for washing dishes & sinks too.

In the kitchen, I use the wash clothes my gramma knits for me - once they get old & full of holes, I use them as rags.

What do you use for rags?

My rags:

1.) Old t-shirts
2.) linen towels inherited from my grandmother

I don't know what I did before I discovered crochet wash cloths and scrubbies from Etsy! For really dirty cleaning I like old terry towels, torn up, and old T-shirts. For the sink I love marinebiochic's crochet cloths--and a Scotchbrite scrubber. For bath, I have one of those really soft ones from yarncoture.

I love crocheted dish rags... they scrub really well. I want to learn how to crochet just to make a big stockpile of them.

As for rags, I use old washcloths and old cut-up t-shirts.
