This hand-felted pouch by CBino is fabulous!!! The amount of detail is amazing & the cute little pompom zipper pull finishes it off nicely.

Item of the day: Queen Ann's lace scarf

Teal is my favourite colour this season - and I just love how the beautiful Queen Ann's lace looks exactly like snowflakes on this gorgeous jersey scarf by NewDuds.

Item of the day: Rabbit Cuff

I love this sweet little bunny cuff by theilluminatedowl. So cute! I also like that the cuff is adjustable due to a flexible band of metal inside. Very cool!

Item of the day: Ceci n'est pas une cravate

If you want to make your guy smile this holiday season, you should pick him up this witty tie by toybreaker. Of course, he'll have to know a bit about art history to get it - but the confused look on his face might be just as amusing!

Item of the day: Nymphaea

I love the flared shape of this acacia bowl by sweettidings - a set of 4 with some salad tongs would make a great gift!

Item of the day: Survivor

The item of the day today is dedicated to my aunt, who underwent a successful surgery yesterday. This survivor necklace by 2BellesBeads is stunning and reversible - something I may have to pick up once this ordeal is behind us all.
I'd appreciate it if everyone of you could say a little prayer for her - it would mean a lot to me and my family. ♥

I apologize to all the participants for the delay in posting these photos (the deadline for sending was yesterday), but I was waiting on one more picture. Even though I haven't received that one (don't worry though, it's because of computer troubles, not because of non-participation), I've decided to go ahead and show them all so you can wonder which is yours!

Item of the day: Chicken Bowl

In a fun, quirky way, this aqua-coloured bowl by CircaCeramics would look great with the plates I showed yesterday! Especially as a mixed set with the yellow version!

Item of the day: Dandelions in the Wind

Doesn't this remind you of summer? We'll have to wait awhile before we hit that season again - this stained glass panel will tide you over until then. Just stare at it when you're feeling cold & sad. The shop carrying this piece, andra358, is run by an amazing artist - I have several of her stained glass people that I absolutely adore!

Item of the day: Dreaming with Tree

I'm so inspired by paper-cutting - it's such a delicate & intricate art and the results are always stunning. A friend pointed me over to CuttingArtByVictoria and I was absolutely floored. This particular piece is gorgeous - I love the colour behind her dress (a form of paper cutting called Kiri'e). Doesn't she feel like a goddess?

Item of the day: Personalized Holiday Card

These ADD-A-PHOTO holiday cards are designed by my friend Kat of H20works. They're neat because you can get Kat to personalize the card however you want & then you can print as many as you need! And if you run out? Print more!
I'm partial to this design - just try to resist that grin!

Item of the day: Advent Calendar

November is the time to buy an advent calendar - as a kid, my gramma would always get us a chocolate one from Laura Secord. Yum! This year, I'm thinking this advent calendar by nouveaudesigns would be a little more sophisticated.
Also available in a Brooklyn version.

Item of the day: Blue Flowery cotton shirt

I love this flowy shirt by larimeloom - the pattern & colours are gorgeous & the cut is really flattering. I really love that you can wear it a number of different ways.

Skinny Card Tags

The skinny card tag is my newest gift tag design! Simple & cute, the tag folds open to reveal a blank interior. The spine is completed with a sweet bow of baker's twine.
Now available in my PaperUlixis shop - each set is unique & probably can't be reproduced, so snatch up your favourites right away! You'll find a selection of both holiday and everyday tags in sets of 6, 9 and 12.

Item of the day: Hand painted silk scarf

I've mentioned before how much I love hand-painted silk scarves - the pride of wearing a work of art around your neck, the multitude of compliments, the soft silk against your neck... Well, I stumbled across silkshop today (through MHR) & fell in love. I couldn't choose just one to show you, I had too many favourites! Like this lovely soft yellow with delicate pink flowers:
Which silkshop scarf is your favourite?

Item of the day: Tree print

I love the simple design of these trees by PrettyRaccoon. The teal of the shirt is also gorgeous - and hot for this winter season!
