Meet Isis & Iris

The 9th & 10th goddesses in my Klimt ACEO series.

Iris - Greek goddess of the rainbow & messenger to the gods

And the back. This beauty is already sold - actually, she was purchased as a surprise gift. I wrapped her up in pretty paper & string - I hope the recipient loves her as much as I do!

Isis - Egyptian goddess of motherhood & fertility

And the back. For sale. This was my first goddess in profile - I'm quite pleased with how she turned out. I really debated about adding an arm but decided against it since none of the other goddesses have any.

This time, I wanted the background to reflect the goddesses. So Iris is set before rolling green hills & a bright rainbow. Isis scans the roiling navy blue Nile, with green fields & sandy buildings in the distance. Rays of golden sunlight shine from the South-East.
